Stevie Krueger

Having lived from mountains to sea level, Ms. Stevie Krueger has an eye for the unusual and sometimes the forgotten obvious. She looks at the discarded materials left for dead. Buried and seeping into the earth even though most can be rescued, recycled, and reused but aren't. Chaotic patterns and emotions are deconstructed and then reassembled into 3D forms of metal assemblage, 2D painting on found objects & photographs that are begging for explanations. She is a 46 year old proud mother of her 21 year old son in his third year of college and two rescued dogs who think they are human and mean the world to her. She is a survivor of cancer and a working artist who exhibits in Wisconsin & on the web. After three years attending University of Wisconsin - Richland, she took her findings in her Environmental Science class as a basis for her desire to show others how wasteful as a culture we are and that these materials can live on, or break down properly instead of causing our own future demise.
