Sivakami Velliangiri started writing as a child, when her congenital cataract was mistaken for a keen imagination by her parents. She has been
writing ever since and has been published in national and international magazines such as, *The Little Magazine, Danse Macabre, Indian Scholar* etc. The Lily Literary Review brought out a electronic Chap Book of her poems, ’In My Midriff.’ Currently, she devotes much of her time to bringing younger voices into poetry.
