Crisha Yantis was raised in Olympia, Washington. After a few years working as a potter in Seattle she relocated to Athens, Georgia where she received her BFA in Ceramics at the University of Georgia. During her time in Athens, working on clay sculpture, enjoying the southern community of clay workers, watching rain storms, and dodging mosquitos, she now heads off to attend graduate school at the University of Nebraska to further her clay studies.
