LISTEN TO GAVIN HAMMOND:
"Walk to me in the Snow"
ABOUT GAVIN HAMMOND:
Gavin Hammond is a sensitive folk singer in one of the most ruthless cities in the world: London - a noteworthy feat in itself.
He is a serial monogamist, casual Lomographer and mean finger picker who likes to draw cartoons in his spare time.
He is also a raging insomniac and the songwriter and producer of film-noir pop group Sweet Tooth but that is another story. He honed his craft while living in Australia, where he played three gigs a day, five nights a week in some of the roughest pubs imaginable. He now prefers the air conditioned comforts of his own studio or the stages of outdoor festivals for obvious reasons. A darkly cynical yet compassionately bluesy singer, he applies his crooked voice to straighttalking songs that are pretty much either about girls, girls or girls. Recently, he composed an instrumental piece and recorded it in a day for his family and friends by way of a New Year's present. He'd like to share it with you here - Enjoy!
