WORKS BY KATIE HERBST

Columbus, OH photographer Katie Herbst finds her inspiration in decay. Abandoned buildings and broken windows may not look like much to some. To her, they are works of art waiting to be recognized. Her ability to capture the beauty that can be found in old, seemingly forgotten locations is remarkable. Looking at the photos in her set "Abandoned," it's easy to see why her work has been featured in multiple galleries and shows at the young age of 23.
